How to become a RMS member
In order to become a RMS member, one needs to fill in the form below and send it to the following postal address:

Why becoming a RMS member?
Each RMS member receives at the beginning of the year a pass which allows him/her to visit for free the house where Mozart lived in Salzburg (Getreidegasse 9), the house where Mozart was born (Makartplatz 8-9) and the Mozarteum Foundation.
Two days before the beginning of the festival, the members are invited to get their 2-seats invitation, which allows free entrance to all concerts during the festival.
Yearly fee
The yearly fee is:
50 RON
25 RON – pupils, students and pensioners
25 USD or 25 EURO – members from abroad
The yearly fee may be paid the following way:
– to the Artistic Secretary (room 17) of the „Gheorghe Dima” Music Academy
– in one of the RMS’s bank accounts

Honorary members
Until now the RMS has granted the honorary member title to twelve personalities in the worlds of music, diplomacy and business environment:
– German publicist Karl Vötterle (1903-1975, post mortem)
– violin player Romanian-born Sándor Végh (1912-1997)
– bariton Ionel Pantea, who organized a Mozart Festival in Cluj, 1983
– American piano player and musicologist Robert D. Levin
– His Excellency Dr. Christoph Parisini, who greatly supported the RMS during his time as Austrian Ambassador in Bucharest
– Alexis Hauser, Austrian conductor
– Dr. Friedrich Gehmacher, former President of Internationale Stiftung Mozarteum in Salzburg
– Peter E. Sandor, former President of Mozart Society Toronto
– Jaap Schröder, Dutch violin player and conductor
– His Excellency Dr. Christian Zeileissen, Austrian Ambassador in Bucharest
